Do you believe in horoscopes?

Before you answer, know that the only reason they work is because they're so vague. They've done tests where they have a group of people (around 40) fill out a sheet and tell them they're getting a personalized horoscope. They then get it back and read it and exclaim how right it is. They switch with the person behind them to realize everyone got the same horoscope. Our minds want to believe them so we work them to fit our life. They use statements such as "Money will come and go." Well duh. You get money, you spend money, it's part of life.

I met a very nice woman that’s a Virgo and we’ve hit it off really well. Does anyone know firsthand if it is a good match, or anyone experienced with Astrology? Thank you so much!
Yes! I’m a Virgo (on a cusp with Libra), and my bf is a Taurus. We were high school sweethearts and we lost touch, but got back together years later and have been going strong ever since!
You are both earth signs which means you have alot of common ground. Virgos are usually the thinkers in the relationship, they like to have a plan for everything, and weigh out every option with tremendous insight and calculation. They don’t like to get hurt, and it takes a while for them to give their hearts to the right guy..so if she already has, then she must really think a lot of you! How do horoscope makers take into account the latitude (not longitude) of the place of birth of a person?

A horoscope is prepared based on the view of the sky from the place of birth of the child at the time of his birth. But the sky looks different from different places around the world. A horoscope based on a book showing planetary positions (known as "Panchang" in India) in one part of the world will not be correct for preparing horoscope for a person born in another part of the world. While the differences in longitudes are supposedly taken into account by adjusting the time of birth taking into account the time difference between the two places (the place to which the Panchang belongs and thje place of birth of the person for whom a horoscope is to be prepared), there seems no way of taking into account the difference in the latitudes of these two places. So, do horoscope makers take into account differences in latitudes or don;'t they. And, if they do, how is it doen?
