.I believe that changing Pluto to a star instead of a planet is ridiculous. After 70+ years, it does indeed change everything. When astrology is based on the line up of the planets, the solar system is in a whole new realm. That creates a lot of new questions, since our day to day horoscopes are predicted with what's going on with the planets and how the earth, the ocean and sea reacts with the planets.

yea it is because it too small to name together with other solar system!but they just don name it as solar system but pluto will still there!=)

We need to add a new classification to define the "dwarfs" planets. Science is always in motion. The truth of today can be partially or total false tomorrow. Anyway sounds like another justification to change the books at the schools. Poor fathers, they can't buy used books anymore!

Yeh I have no idea. It is really a shame they decided to change things. I would say it was needless. Usually they have to go through and reprint new books with new info. Also they might white out current info in school books. heck they still teach Columbus discovered the new world, no the native americans.
