Astrology relies heavily on the Barnum and Forer effect, which are statements that can apply to anybody.

All of the people who participated were all in the same rough demographic – young, educated and articulate. Also Brick Lane and Hollywood are populated by people in the creative industries. Don’t know about the area of Barcelona.
Would these same predictions work with older people, less well-educated people or a group of people from a very different culture such as China or Egypt? Probably not.
That’s how Derren managed to write these analyses. Still a bloody good trick though.

Like anyone would believe a bunch of planes were going to crash into a building. They would have been shot and ridiculed. People would have turned on them thinking they had something to do with the attacks lol.
Even people with real facts and evidence knew those attacks were going to happen. So don’t blame it on the astrologers, blame it on stupid people behind the planes. Astrologers aren’t all about money. Not everyone is an expert at knowing what stupidity will happen.
